Piece 1/7: The concept behind this piece was to use elements of spiders to show the strength and beauty associated with women. The skirt has a very feminine shape, yet the trousers underneath have hints to armor, and seem more masculine. The texture of the wire and velvet contrast similarly to heighten the female and male stereotypes in fashion. Making them show strength and beauty in the way in which they work with each other.
