Piece 2/7: The concept behind this piece was to use allusions of armor and a very feminine skirt to indicate strength and beauty through how both materials interact with one another. The floral design of the top was meant to emphasis a feminine element. I wanted armor to be present throughout this project as a way of showing how typically masculine associations can actually be used to show strength alone and not a specific gender.
