The following is an art project I did in Grade 11 that is based on the legend of 1000 cranes from Japan. Which states that if you create 1000 cranes you can make a wish, usually associated with good health to fortune of another. It is meant to show how the process of making 1000 cranes is similar to that of having a loved one who is ill. It takes time and stress and feels never ending, yet when done it can be beautiful. Along with the video I folded 1000 paper origami cranes that were strung from the ceiling.
