Aim: Working in a group of 4 we had to design a product/system to improve the standard of life in a third world country.
I was working with computer science students and together we came up with the idea of a 'shower-cap roof,' that could be placed on any structure to improve the air quality and dampness within a room. This would increase the health of those living in the structure to improve their standard of living. Long term encouraging them to improve it further by being able to work to a better standard, and increasing life expectancy.
We went on to the next round at the university, despite being one of the few 'products' and not engineering systems.
